Board and Training
Full Board and Training ~ $1250 per month
Full Board and Training is the all inclusive training package. There are no hidden charges for medicating, bandaging or deworming. Your horse will be bathed, clipped and show ready at all times. All vet and farrier arrangements will be made for you. In addition, your horse will have 5 training sessions per week.
Partial Board and Training ~ $1000 per month
Partial Board and Training is designed for the junior or amateur competitor. For those of you that want to train, but can't make it to the stable 5 days a week, this is the right plan for you. This package includes all of the above care, with 2 training sessions per week. This allows 3-4 days per week for you to have a private lesson or a free ride, to work on your skills. Lessons are pro-rated for multiple weekly rides.
Lessons and Clinics
Jess is available to teach at Fox Covert Farm, in Upperville. We also have horses and ponies available for half and/or full lease.
Private lesson with Jess ~ $75
Semi-private lesson with Jess ~ $50 No more than 3 riders to a group.
Lessons are discounted for multiple weekly sessions.
Jess is available for clinics. Contact her directly for availability, travel and day rates.
Show Fees
Coaching fee ~ $75 per day
Groom fee ~ $30 per day
Shipping fee ~ $1 per mile (round trip)
Hotel fees will be split between clients and added to your monthly statement.
Each client is responsible for providing methods of payment for the show office and the braider at each show. Cut to the Chase is not responsible for these fees and there will be a 15% charge for covering these expenses at shows.
Tipping the grooms is greatly appreciated, but it is not required.
Consignments
Training consignment ~ $1250 per month + 10% commission of sale price + advertising costs
Training consignment horses are in the full training program. We understand that when you are trying to sell your horse, you generally need it to happen in an expedited fashion. We will handle all of the ad placements and videos, as well as all of the phone calls and details involved with finding your horse a new partner.
Agent consignment ~ 10% commission of sale price
We are happy to help you advertise to find your horse a new home. We will add your horse to our sales list and bring potential buyers to you.
Finding your next competitor
Travel to US, Canada and Germany~ $300 per day + all travel expenses
Jess has exceptional contacts with breeders, trainers and veterinarians throughout the US, Canada and Germany. We will arrange a suitable amount of horses to look at in a region, to maximize your potential candidates. We will handle all of the vetting, shipping and quarantine (if applicable) arrangements. So, you can relax and wait for your new horse to arrive.
